Revolutionary Device in the Fight Against Cancer<\/em><\/h5>\n

TrueBeam STx, the most technologically advanced radiotherapeutic device used in cancer treatment, delivers treatment through its option of unfiltered compensated beams, allowing the beams to reach the patient extremely quickly. Its most significant feature is being a superior device that combines all advanced radiotherapy techniques such as IMRT, IGRT, pulsed RT, Rapidarc, SRT, and SBRT. Thus, all the new radiotherapeutic techniques of recent years are combined into a single device, and if desired, the treatment can be performed with the option of real unfiltered beams for the fastest, safest, and most efficient treatment.<\/p>\n

Another important feature of the device is that, with an accuracy of less than 0.5 mm, it can determine the target with extremely high sensitivity and direct radiation to the tumour in a very short time. As the treatment time is reduced by 4 to 8 times, the time spent by the patient in a specific position without moving during irradiation is also reduced. This minimizes the uncertainty caused by tumour movements during the patient’s treatment.<\/p>\n

What is TRUEBEAM?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The TrueBeam STx device has been supplemented with a second and more sensitive system that places the patient in the treatment position and provides the ability to monitor respiratory rate, control, and correct the position. Thanks to this additional system called Novalis-ExacTrac, a three-dimensional correction of the position is possible. With Truebeam, radiotherapy is possible under the guidance of more powerful imaging, and the beams can be applied to the target volume with a smaller margin. Thus, we are one step closer to preventing the irradiation of healthy tissue. With the new option for the production and application of radiation, designed differently from other treatment methods, the way to a new era of cancer treatment has been opened.<\/p>\n
